Rui Raposo is an associate professor of science and communication technologies at the Department of Communication and Art, University of Aveiro, where he holds a PhD in communication sciences and technologies and a degree in new communication technologies. His research primarily focuses on UX and Mixed Realities (VR, AR, MR) in areas like e-tourism, cybermuseology, and cultural heritage, as well as audiovisual content production in multiple genres and formats. He has led and contributed to numerous national and European-funded research projects, exploring Extended Reality technologies, tourism, and heritage. He is actively contributing to networking efforts in the field of Digital Media through the ECIU University and has held various leadership roles at UA, including Erasmus mobility coordinator and department director.
