The communication “Exploradores do invisível: uma viagem pela diversidade microbiana” (Explorers of the Invisible: A Journey Through Microbial Diversity) won the Menção Honrosa (general category award) in the Science Communication Competition organized by the Portuguese Society of Microbiology. This article was created within the project “Deixem os microrganismos falar: da arte científica à medição de impacto” (Let the microorganisms speak: from scientific art to impact measurement), developed in the 4th edition of students@DigiMedia (2024-2025).
Ana Beatriz Neves, Carlos Torres, Yeva Poberezhna, Ana Cristina Esteves (CESAM & Department of Biology), Rui Sousa e Pedro Beça (Department of Communication and Art) are part of the multidisciplinary team of this project.
The results were presented at the closing session of MicroBiotec’25 – National Congress of Microbiology and Biotechnology.
