Open online seminar marks the end of the invited researcher Pâmela Pinto's post-doc in DigiMedia

Pâmela Pinto works as a journalist for the Ministery of Health in Brazil (2012 – until now) and developed her post-doc research in DigiMedia, as an invited researcher, together with Professor Maria João Antunes and Professor Ana Margarida Almeida (01/09/2019 – 31/08/2021).

On June 16, 2021, at 4:00 pm, Pâmela Pinto will present an open online seminar on the results of her post-doc research which marks the end of her research stay at the University of Aveiro. The survey “Ehealth Strategies of the Governments of Portugal and Brazil on Instagram” problematized the uses of this platform in both countries, as a mediator of information on health to citizens. The monitoring of the profiles of the National Health System and the Brazilian Ministry of Health pointed out the reconfigurations of these spaces in the context of the pandemic and reiterated the importance of these channels to expand the reach of messages of public interest.
