Sofia Nunes holds a master and a degree from the University of Aveiro, both in Gerontology. She is currently a PhD student in Information and Communication in Digital Platforms at the University of Aveiro, studying the way older people are represented in the mainstream media, especially in animated films.
Former gerontologist at the Gafanha do Carmo Community Center, where she was responsible for the dynamics and communication. Her work has been recognized nationally and internationally.
Sofia is currently working as a community manager at siosLIFE, where she embraced the interAGE project to promote an inclusive society that provides a healthy, active and happy life and aging for all people, regardless of age.
