She has a degree in Communication Sciences (UBI – University of Beira Interior) and a Master’s in Design and Advertising (IADE-UE – Faculty of Design, Technology and Communication) and is currently studying for a PhD in New Media at the University of Aveiro.

Her passion for the world of communication and her love for hip hop culture came together with her roots in the mountains and led to a growing interest in Street Art. It was in the city where she was born, Covilhã, that she had her first and deepest contact with this artistic expression, specifically through WOOL – Covilhã Arte Urbana, which in 2011 was presented as a pioneering festival of contemporary art expressions in Portugal.

After collaborating for several years with companies in the health, digital marketing, public relations and media communication sectors, it is in 2023 that she returns to the academy to continue exploring Street Art, a theme that for the researcher is synonymous with history, memory, culture, people, belonging and home.
