Luciana Albuquerque holds a PhD in Gerontology and Geriatrics (University of Aveiro), funded by FCT in the field of Linguistics. She is a postdoctoral research fellow in the METELS project (FCT – 2023.14504.PEX), focused on developing and validating a scale for user engagement in technology-enhanced learning. She completed a postgraduate specialization in Applied Statistics to Health Sciences (University of Aveiro, 2022), and holds an MSc in Speech and Hearing Sciences and a BSc in Speech Therapy. She is a member of CINTESIS and IEETA, with research interests in acoustic and articulatory speech analysis. She also worked in early intervention (ANIP).
