Jennifer Milena Bueno Rocha is passionate about the study of human communication. She focuses on human communication, health, e-Health, and the digital ecosystem multidisciplinary research.
Holds a bachelor’s degree (2007) in speech-language-hearing therapy from the National University of Colombia and a master’s degree in communication-education from the Francisco José de Caldas District University (Colombia) (2020). Recently obtained the infodemic management certification from the World Health Organization (2021).
She has worked as a communications officer and as a digital strategist in NGOs working on access to medicines and digital rights for the third and private sector in health. She is also a lecturer in human communication and education topics.
Currently, she is a doctoral student in Information and Communication in Digital Platforms. Her doctoral research focuses on e-health literacy and its relationship with women’s digitally-mediated health decision-making.
