Francisco Regalado holds a Master’s degree in Multimedia Communication (Interactive Multimedia field) from the University of Aveiro (2021), and a degree in New Technologies of Communication from the same University (2018). Currently, he is a PhD student in Information and Communication in Digital Platforms at University of Aveiro and University of Porto, holding a FCT PhD scholarship. As part of the SEDUCE project, he is studying the ability of online social digital games to foster information and communication in online learning communities for senior citizens. His research interests are digital platforms, human-computer interaction, computer-mediated communication, digital games, gamification, and ageing studies.
