Catarina Feio is a New Media PhD student at the University of Aveiro. She has a master’s degree in Multimedia Communication (2022) and a degree in New Technologies of Communication (2020) from the same institution.
Her doctoral research focuses on young people’s relationship with new media in terms of their consumption of
information and political participation. Her topics of interest include information consumption habits on new media
platforms, online political participation, and online political discourses.
