Carlos Queirós is currently attending the 1st year of the Doctoral Program in New Media, where he develops research on interactive narratives applied to digital journalism, aspiring to fix the problem of low consumption of news by the young adult audience in Portugal. He has a degree in New Communication Technologies and a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Communication for New Media from the University of Aveiro. His previous research, also in the context of the consumption of news content, focused on the determinant stimuli for the orientation of attention and memorization. He has a special interest in audiovisual communication applied to New Media, user interaction and involvement in digital technologies, conceptual development of interfaces and architecture of interactive narratives.
