Carla V. Leite is thrilled at the prospect of establishing bridges across disciplines, in order to welcome emerging technologies with a noble purpose.

Carla holds a Bachelor’s degree (2010) and a Master’s degree (2013), from the University of Aveiro, related to Digital Media: Communication, Design and Development. She worked as a Researcher, Lead Designer and Developer, Science communication advisor, Project Manager and Trainer, in several sectors, based in different countries.

Currently, she is a Doctoral Student in Multimedia in Education, holding a FCT grant, and teaches Multimedia classes at the University of Aveiro. She does her Research on DigiMedia, being part of E-health and Wellbeing Research Group. Her thesis is focused on the role of Digital Media for Maternal Health Literacy.

Carla also takes courses related to Health, Engineering and Non-Formal Education, she loves to keep learning. She also enjoys to travel, to try new vegan food, to discover different cultures, to practice languages, to photograph and to pay attention to every detail.
