Beatriz Vieite is currently a PhD student in New Media at the University of Aveiro (UA). She holds a degree in Biology (2019) and a Master’s degree in Applied Biology (2021) from the UA. She worked as Research Fellow in the European Multidisciplinary Seafloor Observatory Portugal project (2020) and as Rendering of Services in the Gamers4Nature project (2022). She also worked as a volunteer in digitization of specimens at the Biological Research Collection (DBio/UA) and at the Insect Collection of University of Madeira. Her areas of interest include science communication, museums and biological collections, marine biology, and photography.
