Biography

André Castello Branco holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s in Management at FGV in Brazil. He concentrated his studies on digital platforms of the sharing economy.

He was a professor at universities in Brazil. He was professor in disciplines of Information Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation. André has extensive experience in the IT consultancy for large multinational companies.

He is a PhD student at the Information and Communication on Digital Platforms (University of Aveiro and Porto). Currently he is researcher in project CeNTER– Community-led Networks for Territorial Innovation. His research interest is on digital platforms for social health in smart cities, territorial innovation and open data.
