Ana Raquel holds a PhD in Multimedia in Education (University of Aveiro) and is currently a Visiting Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra. Her main research interests include instructional design (considering action-oriented approaches and active learning methods, e.g. peer mentoring, challenge- and project-based learning, gamification strategies, the mediation of digital collaborative technologies), and the research and development of technology-enhanced educational solutions that may facilitate teachers and learners’ interactions and improve the quality of the learning process. She also holds an MA in Terminology and Translation (Univ. of Porto) and a Degree in Modern Languages and Literatures (Univ. of Coimbra).
