Alcina Maria Narciso Prata holds a PhD in Informatics Engineering by the University of Lisbon. She is a Coordinate Professor at the Department of Systems and Informatics, Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Setúbal. She teaches in the two levels of courses offered by her department: Undergraduate course and Master program. She has developed several supervising activities of MSc and PhD students, highly related to her main research interests and she has been involved in some research projects and scientific initiatives. Her research activities are focused on emergent technologies, web design, user experience, new media, Human-computer interaction, multimedia, crossmedia, crossplatform contents and Interactive Television.
