This project aims to develop a new serious game model, implementing FlavourGame with the aim of overcoming the limitations of digital-only communication typical of computer games/apps. Integrating important emotional and social components of communication, the research team designed a new serious game with a tripartite approach: conversation, participation and tangible interactivity. With the theme of nutrition, FlavourGame aims to support the autonomy and motivation of children from 10 to 12 years old to make healthy food choices.
FlavourGame is part of Newsletter 392 from COMPETE 2020 with voice of the Principal Investigator of the project, Nelson Zagalo (DigiMedia member).
