DigitalOBS and SOPCOM are hosting a “Getting Started with Tableau” Workshop on December 5 at 14:30 (Room 40.2.5 or online). This Tableau visualization design workshop will be a collaborative, interactive session where participants learn and implement best practices for creating dashboards. Maria Ferreira and Sara Martins will lead the workshop.

Maria Ferreira is a PhD candidate in Multimedia in Education at the University of Aveiro. She holds a degree in Information Technology Management from the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém and a master’s degree in Computer Science Teaching from the University of Lisbon. She teaches computer science at Gago Coutinho Secondary School, focusing on information systems programming and communication networks.

Sara Martins is also a PhD candidate in Multimedia in Education at the University of Aveiro. She specializes in environmental mobile applications, child-computer interaction, and environmental education. Sara holds a degree in Design from the University of Aveiro and a master’s degree in Graphic Design and Editorial Projects from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto.
