Alberto Alejandro Jiménez Macías is an Assistant Professor at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He obtained his PhD at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Telematics Engineering and a master’s degree in Computer Science at the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) (Ecuador). He carried out development and research work at the Information Technology Center (CTI-ESPOL) for 8 years. His areas of interest are Learning Analytics, Educational Data Mining and Educational Technology
