Tiago Bastos is a PhD student in Multimedia in Education at the University of Aveiro. He holds a master’s degree in Music Teaching and a degree in Music Education. He teaches piano in specialized music education schools in Portugal and remotely to students both nationally and internationally. His research focuses on distance piano learning, exploring pedagogical strategies and digital tools to expand access to formal music education in regions lacking local provision, while also reflecting broader interests in music learning software and the use of artificial intelligence in music education.
