The Digital Interaction 2021 event, organised by DigiMedia, dedicated to the topic “Surviving the pandemic through the screens”, took place online on June 18, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. This event was attended by researchers, students from all the cycles and members of several companies.
In the morning, the event features two sessions dedicated to “The Interaction Supported by Technology” and “The Pandemic and Communication Technologies”. In these panels the invited speakers were several members of the academic community, students from different cycles and professors, who will share experiences and knowledge built in a period in which virtual interaction had to reinvent itself in multiple ways. The morning ended with the keynote talk of Professor Anders Kalsgaard Møller from Aalborg University (Denmark), with an intervention dedicated to the theme: “Using Digital Media for Learning, Interaction, and Collaboration During the Pandemic”.

The invited speakers for this moment were Alumni of courses in Science and Communication Technology of DecA who are working in different countries, which gives great impact to this panel: Nuno Simaria (Germany), Nuno Escudeiro (Italy), Juliana Teixeira ( Timor) and Daniela Alves (United Kingdom).
