João holds a Master’s degree in Applied Ecology from the University of Aveiro and a degree in Biology from the University of Évora. He is currently a PhD student in Multimedia in Education at the University of Aveiro. His research focuses on science communication, citizen science, and the creative use of multimedia tools to engage young learners and school communities in science. He is particularly interested in exploring innovative approaches to make scientific knowledge accessible, interactive, and inspiring for diverse audiences.
